Do you live in Yeovil East?

To find out visit the South Somerset District Council site and go to ‘your area’ link http://www.southsomerset.gov.uk/your-area/ and enter your postcode.

You do?

Then you’ve come to the right place for information!!

If you haven’t yet registered to vote, or have recently moved, registering is now simple, you just need your NI no. and go to: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

At the elections on May 7th 2015 you will have 3 ballot papers:

  • one for electing your MP
  • one for electing your South Somerset District councillors (up to 3 votes)
  • one for electing your Yeovil Town Councillor(s) number of votes will vary, depending on which part of Yeovil East you live, see below.

The MP vote is simple, we of course would like to see David Laws re-elected and encourage you to vote for him.

For South Somerset District Council we have three candidates, again we would like all three to be elected (3 votes):

  • Tony Lock
  • David Recardo
  • me (Rob Stickland)

Yeovil East covers two Town Wards so depending on where you live we have the following excellent candidates:

  • East Ward (4 votes):
    • Tony Lock
    • David Recardo
    • Me (Rob Stickland)
    • Manny Roper
  • New Town Ward (one vote)
    • Phil Chandler

Check which Town Council Ward you are in here: http://www.yeoviltown.com/pdf/13001/Yeovil%20Town%20Parish%20Wards%20-%20May%202015.pdf
