Now the elections are over, it’s time to settle down and get on with the important stuff. Looking after the interests of the people in Yeovil East Ward and the wider areas of Yeovil and South Somerset.

I have to say it has been an interesting few weeks since the election and my grey cells have been working hard. With the Annual meetings done, the various committees begin. It’s all new, but I have to say I’m enjoying it.

Obviously with David Laws loss in the General Election, Yeovil no longer has a Liberal Democrat MP, that doesn’t mean that Yeovil Liberal Democrats can’t help. We still have control of South Somerset District Council and Yeovil Town Council (and other South Somerset Town/Parish Councils too). We are still here to answer your queries. I might not personally know all the answers but will happily contact the people who can help.

South Somerset Liberal Democrats is still going strong and growing fast, still serving the people of South Somerset, still here for you!!
